I have used the TracRac products for nearly 7 years now. It is the most versatile rack system I have ever seen. The adjust-ability, light weight and ease of use are unmatched. This time I only bought the base rails, as I had changed trucks from a short bed to a long bed. The rest of my system has held up perfectly for the past 7 years and will likely continue on indefinitely.

TracRac Sliding Base Rails with Hardware
The TracRac Base Rails are the same rails used on the TracRac sliding system which is among the most multipurpose rack systems available. The rails withstand the test of time. Two black anodized aluminum base racks complete with hardware make up the set. TracRac Base Rails are used with TracRac Sliding ladder rack systems. The TracRac Base Rails are designed for easy installation and removal. No drilling is necessary. The installation utilizes the stack pockets found in pickup trucks that are compatible. They connect the side rails by extending down the stake pocket opening and attach to the base rail bottom at the other end. The top two allow racks to slide along the tracks and be locked into the exact required spot. The other allows a variety of accessories such as cargo dividers to be mounted. The rails are constructed of solid cast aluminum. Anti-corrosion and wear-resistance are afforded by the black anodized outer finish. These base racks can be customized for hauling ability.
